Just an FYI that y'all might wish to mention at next week's meeting.

Just putting up a cross post for any interested beekeeper.......

The Blount County Beekeepers has a very special speaker at their January meeting, which is held Thursday January 31st at 6:30pm. Meeting is at the Blount County Resource Center in Cleveland. The address of the meeting is 62561 US 231, Cleveland, AL 35049.

Dr. James Tew is a very entertaining and informative speaker. I am unaware of his topic; but will add this information if it becomes available.

Dr. Tew is the Alabama State Beekeeping Specialist with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Auburn University and retired professor from Ohio State
University. He and his wife, Vallie, live in Ohio. His web address is www.onetew.com. He is coming to speak at the Blount County club on his way to Clanton to set up for his symposium on February 2nd.

Also, the Feb 2nd is the 24th Annual Alabama Cooperative Beekeeping Symposium in Clanton, AL;  and the Alabama Master Beekeepers Symposium is Feb 7-9th in Clanton, AL.

Thank you,
