A self-paced course, Farming Basics equips beginning farmers with the skills needed to start a farm operation. The course, a collaboration of Alabama Extension and Auburn University professionals, focuses on farm management and marketing, pesticide safety, food safety, basic crop production and pest management.  Each chapter includes short videos as well as lists of important resources. Short quizzes reinforce key chapter concepts.
